Suppose the MR technician has given you a text file with diffusion gradient directions. How to convert it into a grb file?
In the example, we have a direction table which is comma-separated.
- Open the text file containing the direction table in a text editor:
- Open any of the grb files supplied with your BrainVoyager installation in a text editor:
- Save the file under a different name, and delete the gradient table and the number behind "NrOfEntries"
- Copy the diffusion direction table from the text file and paste it into the grb file:
- replace the commas by spaces, by using the Find & Replace function of your editor:
- Add the number of diffusion directions to "NrOfEntries" and we're done.
