Importing E-Prime log files (*.log) to stimulation protocol (*.prt)

Importing experimental data

Description: "eprimer" is a tool for importing E-Prime Log files (*.txt) to BrainVoyager stimulation protocol (*.prt).

eprimer (v0.5): Finally, here is a version of `eprimer' suitable for BrainVoyager QX 2.2 and 2.3. Its functionality is similar to `eprimer' v0.4, the only difference is that configuration of variables takes place only via a text file, which was the most convenient option in v0.4, since the same configuration file can be used for all subjects of an experiment (for an example, see figure below); also, the text file lines do not need to be delineated by <BR>, like for v0.4. The manual will be updated soon, but for a current reference, please consult the one for v0.4. For `installation', extract the *.zip file contents to the /Documents/BrainVoyagerQXExtensions/Plugins_xx/ folder. Start the tool via the BrainVoyager "Plugins" menu.
Compilations: Mac OS X, Windows 32-bit, Windows 64-bit. Latest update: 08-11-11.
Manual: PDF. Latest update: 08-11-11.

eprimer (v0.4): This version saves the configuration of the conditions in a parameter file, which can be re-used for subsequent runs or subjects. Latest update: 09-06-2010
And here is the manual for eprimer v0.4 (updated November 2010). Can be used up to BrainVoyager QX 2.0.8.

Note: In case the BVQXLog tab shows empty lines when importing via eprimer, please read the following. The cause is a text mark-up problem. The solution for importing the *.txt log file from E-Prime is to copy-paste the logtext to a mark-up free text/programming editor, save in a different extension and import the 'mark-up free' text with eprimer.

For importing Presentation log files, the protocolgenerator plugin is available at the plugins page.
